What does the lifetime warranty cover?
Our lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects, material warping, hardware failure, and normal wear issues for wood shutters and select premium products. It does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or normal wear from pets or children.
How do I file a warranty claim?
Contact our customer service team at (316) 530-2635 or email warranty@smartblinds.com with your order number, photos of the issue, and description of the problem. We'll guide you through the process.
Is professional installation covered?
Yes! Installation-related issues are covered under warranty when installed by Smart Blinds certified installers. This includes mounting problems, measurement errors, and installation defects.
What about motorized products?
Motorized window treatments have a 5-year warranty on motors and electronic components, plus the standard product warranty on materials and mechanisms.
Does the warranty transfer to new homeowners?
Yes, our warranties are transferable to new homeowners with proper documentation. The warranty period continues from the original purchase date.
What is not covered by warranty?
Normal wear from daily use, damage from pets or children, improper cleaning, modification of products, or damage from extreme weather conditions are not covered.
